Why Give to Touchstone Academy
As a small, not-for-profit, independent school, we receive no outside funding and rely instead on the support of our community. Our gratitude, as a result, knows no bounds!
Why do we need additional resources above and beyond our tuition?
It’s a good question.
It’s because tuition and fees only cover about 90% of our expenses – things like salaries, field trips and classroom supplies. The gaps – things like innovative new technology or equipment, professional development, and necessary upkeep and improvements to our building – require ongoing fundraising efforts.
In addition, as an inclusive school that seeks socio-economic diversity, we manage a robust Financial Assistance program that provides needs-based funding for families who are interested in a Touchstone education but may not be able to afford it.
We issue tax receipts for all donations and we look forward to thanking you for your generosity and support!
